Cellar Door
When she inspected the site of our then proposed cellar door, Heritas’ Principal Architect Linda Babic took inspiration from the prevalence of corrugated iron water tanks visible along the Bucketts Way. The shape of those tanks is reflected in the striking approaches to our cellar door.
Linda was also impressed by the proximity of our large farm dam and its allure as a water feature.
We are proud that our cellar door was constructed by talented local tradesmen Allan Munro, Chris Agio and Barben Engineering.
We call views from the tasting room “Monet” and “Vineyard” for the windows that feature water lilies and the vines from which our Verdelho comes.
Venturing around the deck brings you closer to the farm dam, it’s yellow and hot pink water lilies, it’s Dusky Moorhens and it’s Purple Swamphens.
Our Cellar Door presents a pleasant, inviting and memorable wine experience for those seeking to taste the subtle differences between various vintages of our Gap Hill Verdelho.
